This is a wonderful two-day class for both the beginner and the person who wishes to refresh their techniques. Here you will explore the amazing way dye flows on silk and learn to contain and manipulate that wonderful action in order to create brilliantly colored images. You will learn about the dyes, the resists and the silk.

We will do some work with gutta resist and then move on to wax techniques as well as learn that thickening the dye creates interesting painting options. Come and experience the movement and fluidity and brilliant colors that are the hallmarks of this art form.
